| Where do I pay for a parking ticket?
A parking ticket can be mailed back to the
Annville Township Police Department at the listed address:
36 North Lancaster Street
Annville, PA 17003
A person may drop off the ticket with an officer
at any time during the day. In the event that an officer is not in the
office, there is a mail slot on the front door of the office.
What if I want to contest the parking
ticket?
In the event that the a person wants to contest
the parking ticket, unfortunately there is no formal appeal within the
police department. If person would not respond to a parking
ticket or advise the police department that they are appealing the
ticket a letter will be sent as a reminder and if still no response a
summary traffic citation would then be filed through the local district
justice office and a hearing would then be scheduled. It would be at
the discretion of the District Justice on the outcome of the parking
violation.
Where do I pay on fines as a result of a
citation?
Both non-traffic and traffic citations can be
paid at the local District Justice Office. The local magistrate is
District Justice Michael Smith, located at:
138 West Walnut Street
Cleona, PA 17042
717.273.0885
This is the same building for the Cleona Borough
Hall Administration and Cleona Borough Police Department. A person must
call and schedule an appointment with the office in order to be
considered for a payment plan on any fines established through the
District Justice Office.
How do I obtain a copy of a police report?
The normal fee for all police reports is $15. A
person may stop by the office during normal business hours and retrieve
a report from the police department. A report will only be issued after
it has been officially approved by the department. Only the Chief Of
Police or designee will relinquish a police report. The most common
request is of course an accident report. The same will apply for the
accident report request.
Note: Due to criminal history laws and police
investigations that are sensitive in nature, not all reports will be
relinquished or made available to the general public.
