August 2, 2011 National Night Out: This event is held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. and hosted by The Annville Township Police and The Union Hose Fire Company. NNO is designed to promote the fight against crime and show unity between the community, the police department and the fire company. Food for the event is based on donations from businesses and residents. Help on that night is through volunteers such as yourself. This event has been well received by the community and seems to be growing every year.

Trick or Treat Night: Monday October 31  6pm to 8 pm. The police department has extra patrols including foot patrols out on this night to help it be a safe and fun night for our younger residents. Pumpkin Walk at the Quittie Park: Date is held on the Friday in connection with Halloween. Pumpkin Walk is a guided walk through the park and is coordinated between The Quittie Park Group and LVC Students. Free admission.   If you can't make the pumpkin walk, no worries,  Quittie Park is open year round from  Dawn to Dusk and offers a shady trail for a walk or jog along the Quittie Creek

December Date to be Determined: Santa comes to the Allen Theater in the morning and a tree lighting ceremony in the evening ushers in the holiday season.

The police department takes pride in being a part of the events to help promote the fact that we are there to Serve as well as to Protect.
